Not sure exactly how to let you go, but I think I must. I felt for so long that I was drowning in you, but I never minded it. I love you, Buffy, but you're not like that, are you? What's a girl like me to do? You once said `someday'. Someday you'd be ready to be with me. I know now that it was just bullshit. This hurts, B. It really hurts. I know I have to walk away from you. I know no one could ever love me after the shit I've done, but maybe that won't be such a bad thing. I know that my defenses are down now, but I need a reason. Why'd you string me along for so long? Why'd you say `someday' and give me hope, when what you really meant was `never'? For that matter, after how I've been, why'd I be a fucking fool and believe you? Who'd love me now? And who's to save me fro the blue? Now my body's weak, so just give me a reason.

Faith looked at the letter once more, before she wiped her eyes and ripped it in fours and threw it in her cell's toilet.
